GENERAL MEETING & CONVENTION (Annual)
Held each year in one of our Atlantic provinces, this event brings together hundreds of leading figures in the Atlantic Canadian trucking industry for meetings, discussions and networking.

New executive officers and board members are elected every two years for the APTA and the councils of Safety and Associated Trades.  Discussions are held on annual reports, topics of interest, issues and suggestions for the future.

TRUCK TECHNOLOGY (Maintenance) SEMINAR (Bi-annual)
Held in the year opposite the Atlantic TRUCK Show, the focus on technology draws over 200 industry participants for 2 days of information and instruction.  Presenters are recognized technical people from the goods and services suppliers to the trucking industry.

ATLANTIC DRIVING CHAMPIONSHIPS (Annual)
The APTA Safety Council organizes the Atlantic Driving Championships to promote safe driving skills and professional awareness among truck drivers.  In order to compete, a driver must be a professional truck driver and must have maintained an accident free driving record for at least one full year before the event.
