GENERAL MEETING & CONVENTION (Annual)
Held
each year in one of our Atlantic provinces, this event brings
together hundreds of leading figures in the Atlantic Canadian
trucking industry for meetings, discussions and
networking.
New executive officers and board members are elected every two years for the APTA and the councils of Safety and Associated Trades. Discussions are held on annual reports, topics of interest, issues and suggestions for the future.
TRUCK TECHNOLOGY (Maintenance) SEMINAR
(Bi-annual)
Held
in the year opposite the Atlantic TRUCK Show, the focus on
technology draws over 200 industry participants for 2 days of
information and instruction. Presenters are recognized
technical people from the goods and services suppliers to the
trucking industry.
ATLANTIC DRIVING CHAMPIONSHIPS (Annual)
The
APTA Safety Council organizes the Atlantic Driving Championships to
promote safe driving skills and professional awareness among truck
drivers. In order to compete, a driver must be a professional
truck driver and must have maintained an accident free driving
record for at least one full year before the event.

APTA SAFETY / MMTA - CROSS BORDER SEMINAR

The
APTA Safety Council and the Maine Motor Transport Association
(MMTA) Safety Council bring together a group of expert people from
both sides of the border each Fall for a safety conference.
This event is open to members of both associations and provides a
wonderful opportunity to network with other safety professionals
from both sides of the border.
