TRAINING
Atlantic Provinces Trucking Association members endorse Canadian Trucking Human Resource Council accredited schools. They are certified to offer a 12-week Driver Training program that is designed around the National Occupational Code for Commercial Truck Drivers. The training involves an 8-week training program at a certified school and a 4-week supervised Internship with a certified coach driver. This training is available in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island. Below is a list of Driver Training Schools that are either Canadian Trucking Human Resources Council (CTHRC) certified or who meet their respective Provincial Standards or both. Please contact the schools directly for more information on their programs.
